CVS Marketing and Communications Lead

25 hours per week (worked Mon - Fri) 

Up to £26,000 per annum pro rata

 

Can you help us champion and promote the amazing work of the incredible Voluntary, Community, Faith and Social Enterprise (VCFSE) sector here in North Herts and Stevenage?  We are looking for a confident communicator who can create tailored, compelling content and campaigns. You’ll lead on the creation, posting and scheduling of social media posts on LinkedIn, X, Facebook and Instagram. You’ll be actively involved in creating content for our newsletters and website, in particular partner spotlights and volunteer interviews. You’ll have excellent design and written communication skills, with an ability to adapt your tone and voice to engage specific audiences, whist remaining true to North Herts and Stevenage CVS’s messaging and brand. You’ll also have a chance to get involved in an array of exciting events and campaigns.

Treasurer to the Board of Trustees

 

As Treasurer to the Board of Trustees, you will play a pivotal role in guiding the financial well-being of NH&SCVS, directly contributing to the organisation's ability to create lasting impact within our community. Your expertise will be crucial in maintaining effective financial oversight, strategic decision-making, and ensuring transparency in financial matters.

 

Responsibilities

·      Collaborate with fellow Trustees and the Chief Executive to develop and oversee NH&SCVS's financial strategy and policies.

·      Provide astute financial guidance, ensuring prudent management of resources and adherence to regulatory requirements.

·      Review and approve budgets, financial statements, and audits, ensuring accuracy and alignment with organisational goals.

·      Engage actively in discussions, offering insights on financial implications of strategic initiatives and risk management.

 

Skills and Qualities for a Trustee and Treasurer:

Financial Acumen: Likely a background in finance, accounting, or a related field, with a deep understanding of financial management and reporting.
